Insaan ke paas jo sab se baRi ne’maton mein se ek ne’mat hai, woh us ki zubaan hai. Yehi zubaan izhaar-e-khayal ka zariya hai, yehi rishta-e-dilon ki bunyaad hai, yehi muhabbaton ki tarjumaan hai. Magar afsos ke yehi zubaan, jab beqaabu ho jaaye, to rishton ke bandhan toR deti hai, dilon mein zakhm choR deti hai, aur insaan ki izzat khaak mein mila deti hai.
Alfaz ke samandar mein woh shakhs hi mehfooz rehta hai jo apne labon ke saahil ko qaabu mein rakhta hai. Zubaan ek aisi talwaar hai jo doosron ko bhi kaaTti hai aur kabhi kabhi apne hi wujood ko zakhmi kar deti hai.
Zindagi mein kitni hi pareshaniyaan, kitne hi ikhtilaaf, kitni hi dushmaniyaan, mahez is zubaan ki be-ehtiyaati se janam leti hain. Insaan jab bolta hai to goya apne baatin ka darwaaza khol deta hai. Jis ke andar hikmat ho, woh kam bol kar dilon ko musakhkhar karta hai, aur jis ke andar jahaalat ho, woh ziyada bol kar khud apni waq’at ghaTa deta hai.
Khamoshi dar-asal ek aisi ibaadat hai jis ke liye wuzu shart nahin. Yeh woh chiraagh hai jo andar ki roshni baRhata hai. Nabi-e-Kareem ﷺ ne farmaya: “Man Kaana Yu’minu bi-Allahi wa-al-Yaum-il-Aakhir, fa-li-yaqul khairan aw li-yasmuT” (Jo Allah aur aakhirat par imaan rakhta hai woh ya to khair ki baat kahe ya khamosh rahe). Yeh woh sunehri usool hai jis par agar insaan amal kar le to dunya aur aakhirat dono mein sukoon naseeb ho.
Zubaan se nikla hua ek lafz kabhi ek dil ko hamesha ke liye toR deta hai, aur kabhi ek jumla insaan ko aise gunaahon mein mubtala kar deta hai jin ka woh khud andaaza nahin kar paata. Hazrat Umar (R.A.) farmaya karte thay: “Jis ne ziyada bola, us ne ziyada ghaltiyaan kien.” Yeh jumla dar-asal zindagi ki talkh haqeeqat ka nichoR hai. Bahut se log apni aqlmandi dikhaane ke liye bolte hain magar un ke alfaz un ki kam-aqlī ka pata de jaate hain.
Kabhi kabhi sukkūt, hazaar taqreeron se ziyada baleegh hota hai. Khamoshi insaan ko sun’ne ka mauqa deti hai, ghaur-o-fikar ki gunja’ish paida karti hai, aur andar ke shor ko tarteeb deti hai. Jo shakhs har lamha bolne ka aadi ho jaata hai, woh andar se khaali ho jaata hai. Zubaan ke shor mein rooh ka sukoon dab jaata hai, aur insaan alfaz ke toofan mein doobne lagta hai.
Hamari beshtar musibatein dar-asal khud hamari zubaan se shuru hoti hain. Koi ta’alluq khatm hota hai to us ki jaR mein koi talkh jumla hota hai, koi dushmani baRhti hai to ibtida kisi be-ehtiyaat lafz se hoti hai. Agar insaan har mauqe par khud se yeh sawaal kar le ke “Kya yeh baat kehna zaroori hai?” to shayad us ke aadhe masail khud-ba-khud khatm ho jaayen.
Kabhi kabhi khamosh reh jaana kamzori nahin, balkay buland akhlaaq ki alamat hai. Momin ka shewa yeh nahin ke woh har baat ka jawab de, balkay woh wohi kehta hai jis mein khair ho. Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya: “Zubaan insaan ko jahannum mein aundhe munh gira deti hai.” Is liye bolne se pehle tolna imaan ki alamat hai.
Adab ka husn bhi khamoshi mein hai. BaRa qalamkaar woh nahin jo bahut kuch likh de, balkay woh hai jo thoRe mein kamaal ada kare. Isi tarah baRa insaan woh nahin jo ziyada bole, balkay woh hai jo apne alfaz ka nigehbaan ho. Zubaan ke toofan mein raahat tab hi baaqi rehti hai jab insaan ke dil mein khauf-e-Khuda bedaar ho.
Zindagi ka husn e’tidaal mein hai, aur bolne ka husn bhi zaroorat mein. Agar hum ne apni zubaan ko qaabu mein rakh liya to na sirf apne aap ko balkay doosron ko bhi raahat pohncha sakte hain. Sach to yeh hai ke khamoshi mein jo sukoon hai, woh alfaz ke toofan mein kabhi nahin milta.
